Concept
Mood, story, and motion language locked before production.
Hi, I’m Calais.
focused on brand motion, 3D product visualization, and character animation.
I translate brand ideas into cohesive visual experiences through 2D/3D animation, typography, and composition across digital, social, and other touchpoints.

Process
From brand idea to rendered frame — timing, material, and composition.
Mood, story, and motion language locked before production.
Model, light, and material systems for product and character.
Timing curves, camera path, and typography in motion.
Social cuts, reel chapters, and polished brand systems.
Selected work
Brand systems, product viz, and character-led pieces — shaped through color, material, and movement.
Experiments
A space for ongoing exploration across 2D and 3D motion.
Through short studies in typography, transitions, materials, form, and movement, I use these experiments to test new techniques and expand my visual language.
Letterform rhythm, kinetic type, and brand voice in motion.
Cuts, morphs, and timing curves between scenes and states.
Surface response, light falloff, and product look development.
Shape language, volume, and silhouette studies in 3D space.
Camera path, easing, and character-led motion experiments.

How AI supports design — from mockups and textures to product looks and visual directions.
Rather than focusing on individual tools, I break each process into inputs, iterations, time, and final outputs to understand where AI creates real value within a 2D and 3D design workflow.
Brief, references, and story cues that feed the system.
Prompt loops, layout tests, and visual exploration.
Where speed gains matter — and where craft still leads.
Motion sequences, product looks, and campaign-ready direction.
Featured case
This PSA motion explains how bias can appear in AI systems through a simple metaphor. Nea, a curious learning monkey, studies countless monkey photos from social media. Because most of the images show monkeys eating bananas, Nea concludes that bananas are the only food monkeys eat. By following patterns in the data, Nea overlooks other possibilities—like apples. Through this playful story, the film shows that AI does not create bias on its own; it simply learns patterns from the data we provide.
The storyboard was reorganized and visually structured using Figma with the help of ChatGPT to refine the narrative and layout. Then visual scenes were generated and animated using Gemini and Jimeng to produce the final motion sequence.
About
My work is about the connection between traditional culture and modern life.
I grew up in a structured environment, which taught me discipline and control. I also have a background as an athlete, so I naturally approach my work with focus and persistence.
When I moved into a more urban and contemporary space, I started turning those values into visual work. I use 3D, motion, and digital tools to explore reality — to test ideas, solve problems, and global campaigns in the brand products.
Color is a big part of my process. I usually start with soft, muted tones from everyday city life, then move into brighter, more saturated colors in city style. It reflects a shift from calm to energy, from control to expression. I want to try a lot of functions and styles that suit the brand and company.
